"Wireless: a health problem"

On 23 March, took place in the French Senate a statement of the experts, scientists and professors Lennart Hardell , Frank Adlkofer , Dominique Belpomme and Olle Johansson . Under the title " wireless technologies: a health problem " scientists and experts (*) made the following declaration: Declaration

on March 23, 2009 : Electromagnetic fields and health Darwinian evolution occurred in the presence of natural electromagnetic fields. The magnetic orientation is one of the biological mechanisms used by migratory birds and bees. No scientist can now categorically state that the European invasion of our territories by multiple artificial electromagnetic fields does not, and will not have, significant effects on the behavior and wildlife conservation. The effects of electromagnetic fields on health have been established through clinical observation of a large number of investigations toxicological and biological as well as through epidemiological studies. Today, in Europe, an increasing number of people "electrohipersensible" people who have developed intolerance to electromagnetic fields. Although the biological mechanisms are still unknown electrosensitivity in Sweden are legally recognized as a disability. We, doctors, according to the Hippocratic Oath, "researchers, acting on behalf of scientific truth," we doctors and researchers from several European Union countries, DECLARE with total independence of mind, which are increasingly more of patients who have become intolerant to electromagnetic fields, and that this intolerance is causing them serious harm in terms of health, work and family life, and we can not rule out the possibility of developing a neurodegenerative disease, or even some form of cancer, and that injury, therefore, must be recognized and compensated by the social security systems of different Member States of the European Community. Hereby, we would warn governments that, in view of present knowledge, it is conceivable that, after a sufficient period of exposure, this intolerance may also affect children and therefore cause in the coming years an important public health problem in all countries that use an unlimited number of technologies based on electromagnetic field emissions. Although our scientific knowledge is still incomplete, and some issues have given rise to controversy, the international scientific community unanimously recognized a serious potential danger for public health that requires urgent implementation of the precautionary principle. Follow the guidelines of some pressure groups and endanger health, on behalf of short-term benefits and economic interests can only harm our citizens.
